About KillShill
KillShill is a trading-signal platform. We track calls made by influencers across crypto, Indian equities (NSE), US stocks, forex, and commodities, score them against real market data, and publish verified performance.
Influencers and analysts publish trading calls every day, and many of them edit or quietly delete the ones that go wrong. KillShill keeps the record. Here is what the platform does:
Captures calls at the source: public calls from X, Telegram, Discord, YouTube, and Binance Square are recorded and tracked from publication to outcome.
Archives edits and deletions: a call stays on the record even if the original post is removed.
Publishes verified performance: accuracy, ROI, and win rate for every influencer, with rankings and grades across stocks, crypto, forex, and commodities.
Surfaces market analytics: consensus across calls, speed leaders, asset heatmaps, and risk analysis, so users can see how the crowd is positioned.
The web platform is live, built on a Next.js front end, a Java/Spring Boot core service, Python scrapers with an LLM parsing pipeline, PostgreSQL, and WebSocket streams for live prices and signal updates. The mobile app is our next surface, and you will be the engineer who owns it.
About the Role
We are hiring a React Native Developer to build and own the KillShill mobile app end to end on Android and iOS. You will work closely with backend engineers, designers, QA, and product stakeholders, and you will be trusted to make sound technical decisions and see features through from design to store release.
You should be comfortable with cross-platform development, API and real-time data integration, and offline-first scenarios, and willing to write native Kotlin or Swift modules when a platform-specific feature requires it.
Key Responsibilities
Design, build, test, and ship Android and iOS applications using React Native and TypeScript.
Build responsive, performant interfaces that follow Material Design and Apple's Human Interface Guidelines.
Integrate REST APIs and WebSocket streams to power live prices, signal updates, and rankings, handling caching, error states, retries, reconnection, and data synchronization.
Implement local persistence using AsyncStorage, SQLite, MMKV, or Realm.
Implement push notifications, deep linking, analytics, and crash reporting.
Apply mobile security best practices, including secure token storage, session handling, and safe API communication.
Manage builds, beta testing, and releases through Google Play Console and App Store Connect.
Optimize startup time, memory usage, battery consumption, network efficiency, and animation smoothness.
Write unit and integration tests, and help set up automated UI testing.
Build and maintain mobile CI/CD pipelines for automated builds and releases.
Contribute to architecture decisions, code reviews, and engineering standards.
Write native Android (Kotlin/Java) or iOS (Swift/Objective-C) code for native modules and platform-specific integrations when needed.
